American Society of Administrative Professionals
ASAP advocates for the value of the administrative profession through the Administrative Professionals Conference, EA Ignite, PACE certification, webinars (including ASAP Courses), and more educational resources. ASAP training helps admins and EAs stay ahead of the curve, grow, and thrive in their careers.
I sit on the Advisory Board for ASAP, and specifically love the opportunities it has given me for networking and growing through their training resources, either with webinars from industry experts, or through their in-person conferences.
EA Buddy
The mission at EA Buddy is to take the stress out of managing hectic schedules and turn it into a delightful and efficient experience. They aim to empower executive and administrative assistants with best-in-class software to optimize their valuable time and accelerate productivity and job satisfaction.
I use EA Buddy for so many things...including as a spelling/grammar check for everything I post on this website! I have personally experienced how their Founder, Haefa Mansour, is very responsive, eager to implement new functions, and genuinely passionate about the Administrative Profession.
Melissa Peoples
Melissa Peoples empowers and energizes Executive Assistants + Chiefs of Staff + CEOs Around the World - Leading a Revolution of Change + Embracing Technology + Punching Fear in the Face
Melissa has been absolutely pivotal in my growth and development as an Administrative Professional. Her Strategic Calendaring workshop is life-changing for an Executive Assistant, and her empowerment of the Administrative Profession is intoxicating. Joining her mentorship/coaching group is the best decision I made as an Administrative Professional.

It has grown from a personal side project to a market-leading Swiss Army Knife of life organization. Millions of people around the world rely on Todoist every day to keep track of everything – from the mundane logistics of being an adult to their most important professional goals.
I use Todoist in every aspect of my life. I have all of my family’s birthdays and anniversaries in a personal project, along with my reminders to do flea medication for my cats or to flip the mattress. Todoist integrates with both Google and Microsoft, and is the perfect place to keep everything on track for both your professional and personal life.

Grammarly is the AI writing partner that helps people at every stage of the writing process, from blank page to final draft. It can spark new ideas when you’re getting started or help you refine your tone to deliver the results you need.
I have Grammarly installed in my browser, and it helps me check my writing for spelling and grammar. In fact, it is offering me suggestions right now on how to improve this sentence! I would highly suggest utilizing Grammarly!

Canva can be used for creating everything from flyers to slide decks, LinkedIn banners to websites, TikTok videos to business presentations. I use Canva for all of my AI generated graphics for this website, and also used it to create the slideshow for my Grandpa’s memorial service. Canva is an excellent tool for every administrative professional to have!
