About Me
Who am I, why have I created this site, and what draws me to the Administrative Profession? I am delighted to tell you!
Welcome to "The Admin Advocate," your dedicated resource for fostering administrative excellence. I'm Katie Hendrickson, and it's my honor to continue a cherished family legacy as a third-generation administrative professional, following in the footsteps of both my mother and my grandmother.
Since embarking on my journey as an administrative professional in 2016, I have worked in both for-profit and non-profit organizations, and am currently serving as the Executive Assistant to the President/COO at AIT Worldwide Logistics. My experiences have been rich with learning, growth, and an unwavering commitment to organizational success.
I have served on the Advisory Board for the American Society of Administrative Professionals since May 2023 and enjoy the opportunity to speak on the need for comprehensive professional development opportunities for senior-level executive assistants as part of the EA Ignite Committee.
I'm delighted you've chosen to visit "The Admin Advocate." I'm all about making connections, swapping stories, and helping each other thrive in this admin life. I look forward to engaging with you and exploring the many ways we can elevate the administrative profession together.
